     You can rarely meet man with HSV, mostly women are "lucky" to have this problem. In general, symptoms of this disease in men and women are almost the same. Of course, pictures occur on different areas. Itching, burning, redness, pain and irritability accompany almost every outbreak.

     Standard HSV in men can be diagnosed by the existence of typical eruption, vesicles and erosions. Clinical pictures can have significant differences. Often patient suffer from larvated affects, pictures of which may be taken as symptoms of other genital contagions or dermopathy. That is why, clinical pictures in doubtful or atypical cases should be supported by laboratory analysis of HSV. At the same time, negative result of this test doesn't guarantee that you have no genital contagion.
